Account Technologist (Semiconductor)

Location: Shanghai, China. Onsite role with travel required 20% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Manage installed-base and new-product application performance to support customer satisfaction, productivity, and leading-edge technology adoption.
• Define and implement processes, applications, process roadmaps, and technology and product roadmaps for customer sites.
• Work with account teams, factory-based process and technology groups, product sales engineers, and account management to define and approve process support plans.
• Optimize tool utilization, drive local capability and knowledge, manage new system evaluations, and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Support installation, warranty, process qualification, and new technology deployment while training local service resources.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of process performance and execute process beta-site activities.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Knowledge of best practices and how the discipline integrates with other areas.
• Awareness of competition and the factors differentiating products in the market.
• Ability to solve complex problems, analyze information from multiple sources, and apply judgment to existing and new solutions.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
• Ability to act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and potentially lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
