Account Technologist (Semiconductor)

Location: Shanghai, China. Travel required up to 20% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Manage installed-base and new-product application performance to drive customer satisfaction and identify business risks.
• Define and implement processes and applications that support customer productivity and leading-edge technology requirements.
• Manage customer-site process roadmaps and present technology and product roadmaps internally and externally.
• Coordinate with account, factory-based process and technology groups, product sales engineers, and account management.
• Own tool utilization, new-system evaluations, process installations, product qualification, and continuous improvement plans.
• Support and train local service resources during installation and warranty periods to maintain required process knowledge.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Knowledge of best practices, competitive differentiation, and how the function integrates with other areas.
• Ability to solve complex problems by analyzing information from multiple sources and applying sound judgment.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
• Ability to act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and lead small projects.
• Ability to work in Shanghai, China and travel up to 20% of the time.
