2027 Campus Mechanical Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Shanghai, China; onsite

Develops semiconductor inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics for chip, wafer, reticle, packaging, and electronics manufacturing.

What you will do

• Design subsystems, opto-mechanical systems, precision mechanisms, and tooling for manufacturing and service.
• Execute the complete design process, including requirements specification, feasibility studies, engineering analysis, FEA modeling, conceptual and detailed CAD design, drawings, prototype procurement, testing, system integration, and manufacturing handoff.
• Generate manufacturing-release documentation, including BOMs, ECOs, and assembly drawings.
• Provide hands-on support for product system and subsystem installation and assembly.
• Support the system engineer and senior mechanical engineer with product design release.
• Identify and qualify local suppliers, working with suppliers and vendors to deliver high-quality parts on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with solid modeling tools such as Pro/E, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD, as well as engineering analysis and FEA tools.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good time management, self-motivation, self-direction, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Background in motion control and structural vibration or dynamics analysis.
