Trading Operations Junior Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support daily trading platform operations across multiple asset classes, including trade, position, and cash reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve trade, settlement, and cash discrepancies with internal teams and external counterparties.
• Build knowledge of the full trade lifecycle, from trade capture and allocation through confirmation, settlement, and exception management.
• Monitor settlement activity, corporate actions, margin movements, financing events, and other market-driven operational activity.
• Assist with portfolio and NAV reconciliations, daily controls, account onboarding, product launches, and platform projects.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and improve workflows through technology, data, and automation.

Requirements

• Recent graduate, school-leaver, or early-career candidate with a strong academic background.
• Strong numerical and analytical ability, including comfort working with large amounts of information.
• Genuine interest in financial markets, trading, and investing.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to take ownership, collaborate effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
