Windows Platform Engineer

What you will do

• Design and maintain PowerShell automation for Windows configuration, security hardening, and workstation deployment.
• Define BIOS/UEFI security settings and TPM-based trust chains, including Secure Boot, measured boot, and TPM attestation.
• Implement BitLocker and other Windows encryption mechanisms, including key management and recovery strategies.
• Build Windows hardening baselines with Group Policy, AppLocker, custom shell and UI restrictions, and Kiosk or Assigned Access mode.
• Create and maintain VHD/VHDX images for deployment, recovery, and testing workflows.
• Build Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated Windows image and configuration build, testing, and deployment, while collaborating with software, QA, and regulatory teams.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Windows systems engineering, software engineering, security, or automation.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills and troubleshooting experience across the Windows boot chain, OS internals, and security stack.
• Experience with BIOS/UEFI security, TPM architecture, BitLocker, Group Policy, AppLocker, Kiosk mode, Windows accounts, groups, and permissions.
• Experience creating and manipulating VHD/VHDX virtual disks using mounting, provisioning, offline servicing, DiskPart, and DISM.

Nice to have

• Experience with MDT, DISM, Sysprep, WinPE, CIS benchmarks, DoD STIGs, Intune, or other Windows MDM solutions.
• Python or C# scripting experience for tooling integration.
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience in a large medical device organization or post-acquisition integration.
