EHS Manager (f/m/d)

Location: Onsite at the Pall Bad Kreuznach site, Bad Kreuznach, Germany

What you will do

• Develop and implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs for the site.
• Ensure compliance with German occupational health and safety legislation, environmental regulations, and internal hirify.global requirements.
• Conduct hazard-control risk assessments, industrial hygiene sampling, routine inspections, compliance audits, and exposure monitoring.
• Manage safety observations, analyze data, implement countermeasures, and coordinate EHS training through a learning management system.
• Investigate injuries and near misses, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead environmental management activities, sustainability reporting, and development of the site EHS culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of direct EHS experience.
• Certified Occupational Safety Specialist / Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (SiFa) qualification in accordance with applicable German occupational safety regulations.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental health and safety regulations and the ability to interpret technical requirements.
• Ability to communicate EHS information clearly, deliver training, and influence employees and site management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001, or ISO 22301.
• Experience utilizing AI.
• Experience with sustainability initiatives, including Scope 1 and Scope 2 reductions.
