Senior EF PSTS (Pilot Synthetic Training System) Simulation System Engineer (Eurofighter)

What you will do

• Define system designs and requirements across multiple Eurofighter Pilot Synthetic Training System devices and projects.
• Collect system and customer needs, contribute to system architecture, and derive requirements for the Weapon Simulation System and related subsystems.
• Develop a common Training System Acceptance Criteria process and support verification, acceptance, and certification activities.
• Prepare and support SRR, PDR, and CDR design reviews with internal and external customers.
• Coordinate common simulator architecture and future system design solutions across projects, including trade-off studies and technology evaluations.
• Improve systems-engineering practices through lessons learned and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5–10+ years of systems-engineering experience across the full lifecycle of complex systems.
• Strong experience with requirements management and system-modelling tools such as Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or DOORS.
• Very good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with customers and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognised authorities is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with military flight-training devices, simulation, and military avionics standards.
• Knowledge of software architecture frameworks, including service-oriented architecture, microservices, and layered architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps pipelines, containerization, artificial intelligence, advanced modelling, automation, or digital engineering.
