(USA) Senior Manager, Automation Engineering (Automation)

Location: Onsite at the Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $110,000–$220,000 annual salary, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, integration, and troubleshooting of automation systems for supply chain and fulfillment operations.
• Analyze complex operational data and use visualization tools to develop insights and guide strategic decisions.
• Manage project timelines, risks, resources, integration plans, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Finance, and internal and external partners to identify opportunities and implement technology changes.
• Develop financial analyses and business cases to support automation investments.
• Drive continuous improvement through workflow analysis and scalable engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field with at least four years of experience in engineering, supply chain, or a related area; alternatively, six years of relevant experience.
• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Expertise in automation system design, integration, and troubleshooting in complex operational environments.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Experience leading projects, managing risks, improving processes, and delivering results aligned with business objectives.
• Knowledge of engineering economics, financial analysis, and business case development, with strong cross-functional communication skills.

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering.
