MedTech Part Time Clinical Consultant

Location: Wilmington, NC; in-person support at hospitals and other clinical settings is required.

Salary: $60 per hour

What you will do

• Provide case support, patient management, and education for new and existing accounts.
• Support ventricular medical device cases, including on-call coverage.
• Deliver device education in ICU, OR, Cath Lab, and other clinical settings.
• Complete proactive patient rounds and provide clinical assistance.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center and maintain current product and clinical knowledge.
• Travel to other hospitals as needed.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Provider license strongly preferred; perfusionists and cardiovascular specialists are also considered.
• 3+ years of strong clinical experience in CICU, CVICU, CVOR, or Cath Lab settings; CVICU experience is highly preferred.
• Significant ventricular medical device experience, including support for at least 10 cases or patients.
• Provide at least 2 days of live field support and 5 days of availability per month, including 1 weekend.
• Availability to work weekends, nights, holidays, and weekdays is required.
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements and maintain current immunizations.
