Export Control Compliance Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Broughton, United Kingdom; hybrid working; occasional travel within the UK

What you will do

• Develop and implement export control compliance across relevant jurisdictions, particularly UK, EU, and US regulations.
• Request, manage, document, and monitor export licences, agreements, exceptions, and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Represent the organization before government agencies such as ECJU and participate in commercial working groups.
• Oversee internal and external audits, implement recommendations, and support subsidiaries with export control obligations.
• Advise internal teams, suppliers, and service providers on authorizations, terms, and export control requirements.
• Deliver export control training, improve processes, and deploy automation tools aligned with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience advising on international trade, sanctions, and export control matters in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of the UK export environment and UK, EU, and US export control regulations, preferably in aerospace.
• Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance.
• Strong attention to detail, continuous improvement mindset, and collaborative working style.
• Availability for occasional travel within the UK.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of French and/or German export controls.
