Compliance Officer (Asset Management)

What you will do

• Provide compliance advice to business teams and senior management.
• Maintain the compliance framework for UK entities.
• Monitor regulatory developments across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
• Prepare regulatory impact assessments, business guidance, and management information for boards and governance committees.
• Partner with Legal, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Fund Accounting, Sales, and Product teams on controls and regulatory implementation projects.
• Contribute to international compliance initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
• Professional compliance experience within asset management.
• Experience working within the UK regulatory environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK investment management regulations, including UCITS, AIFMD, and MiFID.
• Understanding of operational resilience, reporting, and outsourcing regulations.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and independent decision-making skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
