Process Engineer (Continuous Improvement)

Location: Plainview, Texas, United States; onsite at a regional Distribution Center

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead process improvement activities using 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time-and-motion studies.
• Analyze KPIs, loss profiles, and performance metrics to eliminate losses and reduce process variation.
• Create standard work and deploy Walmart Performance System programs and One Best Way playbooks.
• Manage savings projects and the execution of improvement projects within the assigned functional area.
• Support department and area managers with project execution, associate engagement, and KPI improvements.
• Build process improvement capability through coaching, training, mentoring, and associate development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or prior experience in process improvement.
• At least 2 years of process improvement or relevant work experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and analytical skills.
• Ability to coordinate assignments, maintain stakeholder relationships, and communicate goals and progress.
• Ability to work onsite at the Distribution Center in Plainview, Texas.

Nice to have

• Co-op or internship experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution.
• Experience applying basic Lean or continuous improvement tools.
