Bulgarian Localization QA Tester / Proofreader

What you will do

• Review and refine Bulgarian localized content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, formatting, and cultural accuracy.
• Execute QA test cases across software products, mobile applications, and documentation.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and report localization and functional defects using internal and client-specific bug-tracking systems.
• Verify implemented fixes and investigate linguistic or testing issues.
• Evaluate translations in context and research Bulgarian linguistic questions.
• Follow project-specific quality standards, style guides, glossaries, trademarks, and checklists.

Requirements

• Native-level Bulgarian fluency and cultural awareness of Bulgaria are required.
• Strong proofreading, writing, editing, translation, journalism, marketing, or localization background.
• Ability to follow testing instructions and test cases accurately.
• Experience or capability in reporting bugs, troubleshooting basic issues, and escalating testing problems.
• Good written and oral communication, organization, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assigned work accurately and on time.
