Freelance Patent Linguists (Biology) (English into Slovenian): Translating and proofreading US English patent content into Slovenian with an accent on biological terminology, readable target-language style, and accurate conveyance of the original meaning. Focus on following translation and CAT-tool instructions, reviewing patent content, and communicating promptly in English.

What you will do

Translate US English patent content into Slovenian while preserving the original meaning and ensuring readable, understandable output.
Translate and review patent materials in the field of Biology.
Follow translation processes, project instructions, and CAT-tool usage requirements.
Communicate effectively and respond promptly in English.

Requirements

At least two years of experience translating and reviewing Biology patent content.
Native fluency in Slovenian.
English communication skills required.
Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
Ability to work with JIRA and XTM CAT tools.
