Indirect Category Manager (Life Sciences)

Location: Remote within a reasonable commuting distance of the Deland, Florida or Cortland, New York sites; candidates in major metropolitan areas across Florida and Central/New York regions are encouraged to apply. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally is required.

Annual salary: $90,000–$110,000, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Develop category strategies for Facility & Equipment Services and Facility CAPEX.
• Partner with global stakeholders to implement and execute sourcing strategies.
• Identify cost savings and working capital improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and other functions on project identification and execution.
• Solve problems and lead continuous process improvements across the relevant categories and business areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
• 3+ years of Indirect or Direct Sourcing & Procurement experience in a global manufacturing environment; indirect sourcing is strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of Category Management experience covering Facility & Equipment Services and Facility CAPEX projects.
• 3+ years of contracting experience, including drafting, redlining, vendor negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• 3+ years of supply chain data analytics experience, including spend analysis.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP 4HANA or a similar supply chain ERP system.
• Experience with supply chain transformation initiatives.
• Change management experience with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
