What you will do
- Manage civil works in accordance with pharmaceutical facility requirements, applicable building approvals, and Factory Act 1948 provisions.
- Maintain plant facilities and improve the aesthetic condition of buildings and work areas.
- Prepare facility inspection and maintenance schedules based on GEMBA walks and track completion timelines.
- Coordinate shutdown-related civil work and routine plant maintenance activities.
- Manage vendors, including negotiations, comparative statements, annual rate contracts, bill checking, and JMB preparation.
- Support change control, facility qualification, safety permits, PPE compliance, and contractor training.
Requirements
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical facility finishes, including epoxy and PU flooring, cleanroom partitions and doors, fire doors, emergency glazing, paints, and thermal checks.
- Understanding of safety work permit systems, PPE requirements, contractor training, and work during plant shutdowns.
- Knowledge of facility inspection, maintenance scheduling, change control, and facility qualification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SAP.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Bavla, Gujarat, India.
