Sr. Network Engineer - Data Center and Cloud (Hybrid, London)

What you will do

• Translate business requirements into network designs, reference architectures, HLDs, design reviews, runbooks, proofs of concept, and FOAs.
• Design, implement, and operate global multi-vendor, multi-cloud, and hybrid data center networks at scale.
• Deploy cloud networking constructs including subnet allocations, routing tables, VPCs, peering, PrivateLink, hub-and-spoke topologies, gateways, and direct connects.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code and automation tooling with Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Go through CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex production incidents, contribute to root-cause analysis, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Implement network solutions that satisfy compliance and data sovereignty requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of expert design and hands-on experience with IPv4/IPv6, Anycast, MP-BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN/VxLAN, L3VPN, CLOS, QoS, load balancing, MACsec, and IPsec.
• 5+ years of practical multi-cloud networking experience supporting cloud connectivity at a hyperscaler, CSP, or security company.
• Extensive experience deploying and maintaining large networks with version control, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Bash, Python, Go, Jinja, YAML, and JSON.
• Ability to independently drive agile cross-functional projects to completion with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.

Nice to have

• CCIE or JNCIE certification, or professional-level AWS, GCP, OCI, or Azure certification.
• Hyperscaler or CSP background.
• OpenStack, SONiC, whitebox, FRR, or open-source network infrastructure experience.
• AI/GPU cluster networking experience with RDMA, RoCE, or InfiniBand.
• UK Government, G-Cloud, or sovereign cloud experience.
