Field Service Site Lead (Power Generation)

Location: Dammam, Ash Sharqiyah, Saudi Arabia; onsite field service role

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate outage execution activities from planning and scheduling through safe, efficient delivery within project scope.
• Direct field service specialists, technicians, supervisors, and multidisciplinary teams during outage and field execution activities.
• Oversee assembly and disassembly of mechanical components, I&C commissioning, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations.
• Manage site resources, parts requirements, risks, delays, customer communications, progress meetings, and outage reporting.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, customers, Operations Management, and Service Engineering to achieve project and customer objectives.
• Provide mentoring, technical guidance, and leadership while maintaining safety, quality, and operational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in power generation or heavy industrial environments.
• Extensive experience with rotating equipment, including gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, pumps, motors, and auxiliary systems.
• Experience with Siemens SGT5-4000F, SGT-8000H, and V-Series gas turbine technologies, as well as non-OEM equipment.
• Knowledge of power plant operations, mechanical commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, machining, fabrication, welding, and NDT.
• Experience with maintenance management systems such as SAP, outage planning and scheduling, technical reporting, and customer engagement.
• Experience leading large-scale international field assignments and multidisciplinary field teams.
