Maintenance Rotating Equipment Superintendent (Oil and Gas)

Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Lead rotating equipment maintenance across the JIGH, SATORP, and SASREF sites.
• Manage preventive, predictive, corrective, and hands-on maintenance for reciprocating, centrifugal, screw, lobe, and diaphragm compressors, pumps, seals, and related equipment.
• Coordinate technicians, service providers, operations, engineering, outage planning, and turnaround execution.
• Analyze vibration, temperature, pressure, rod-drop, and DCS data to identify failure risks and implement corrective actions.
• Develop maintenance strategies, work instructions, technical reports, root-cause analyses, equipment records, critical-spares plans, and overhaul toolboxes.
• Maintain safe, compliant, and reliable operations, including oxygen-service cryogenic pump overhauls and environmental controls.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of demonstrated rotating equipment experience in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 10 years in leadership, supervisory, or management roles within rotating equipment maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with compressor and pump overhauls, including reciprocating, centrifugal, screw, cryogenic, positive displacement, high-speed integral, gear, and dosing pumps.
• Experience with vibration spectrum interpretation, condition monitoring, laser and DTI alignment, mechanical seals, dry gas seals, and reliability metrics.
• Ability to lead, coach, mentor, and performance-manage technicians, including during major overhauls and turnarounds.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required. Knowledge of local environmental, health, and safety requirements is also required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or rotating equipment maintenance management.
• Vibration Level 1 and Level 2 certification.
• Knowledge of regional service-provider contracts and technical support.
