Senior Staff Engineer, Quality Assurance (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Lead and support Quality Engineers in daily quality control, issue resolution, and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
• Establish, monitor, and improve product and process quality metrics, including yield, defect rates, Cp/Cpk, and reliability.
• Lead cross-functional root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions with Process, Equipment, and Operations teams.
• Manage customer quality requirements, audits, documentation control, and technical discussions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and customer-specific quality standards.
• Develop quality competencies, lessons learned, best practices, product reliability, and manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or science.
• Management and technical experience in quality, process, or engineering within the semiconductor industry.
• Formal quality training or certification in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or VDA 6.3.
• Knowledge of quality core tools, including APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
• Experience with quality tools and statistical analysis.
• Ability to work onsite in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; remote work is not available.
