Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Hydraulics)

Location: New Port Richey, Florida, United States; on-site role. Requires up to 10% domestic and international travel. Access to export-controlled information requires US citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization.

What you will do

• Provide daily technical support to the manufacturing floor and address documentation, process, and material-flow gaps.
• Lead LEAN and hirify.global Business System implementation through Kaizens, process mapping, root-cause analysis, and waste elimination.
• Manage KPI improvement projects, including problem-solving, action planning, execution reviews, and sustainment tracking.
• Collaborate with product engineering and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability, tooling readiness, and successful product launches.
• Develop and document manufacturing processes for new and updated products, and recommend equipment and tooling improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or a related Engineering field, plus at least one year of relevant experience.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly, statistical tolerance analysis, functional dimensioning, and tolerance analysis.
• Background in complex manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Knowledge of FMEA, DOE, and failure analysis methodologies.
• Eligibility to access export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services through qualifying U.S. citizenship, permanent resident, protected person status, or government authorization.

Nice to have

• High-volume or aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Hydraulic assembly and testing experience.
• Experience designing assembly and test tooling with CAD and implementing automation.
• Knowledge of GDT, aerospace Mil-Specifications, and hydraulic schematics.
