Senior Accounting Manager / Director of Accounting (Robotics)

What you will do

• Manage daily accounting operations across the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and cash reconciliations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and prepare or review journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and management reports.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, company policies, and internal controls.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and communicate insights to leadership.
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, regulatory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
• Improve accounting policies, procedures, controls, and technology-enabled processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• CPA and/or bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes.
• Proficiency with accounting or ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, accuracy, integrity, and discretion skills.

• Big 4 public accounting experience.
• Experience with external audits, system implementations, or process automation.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, or international accounting.
• Comfort working in fast-paced 0→1 environments and managing competing priorities.
