What you will do

  • Reverse-engineer network devices and embedded systems to identify vulnerabilities and assess their security impact.
  • Develop proof-of-concept exploits and maintain organized, production-quality codebases using DevOps practices.
  • Integrate agentic AI systems, automated exploit synthesis tools, LLM-driven fuzzers, and autonomous security agents into firmware red-teaming workflows.
  • Analyze firmware, software protections, binaries, file systems, and communication protocols to uncover security flaws.
  • Build and use custom tools for binary analysis, firmware rehosting, fuzzing, and vulnerability research.
  • Collaborate with CNO developers, vulnerability researchers, and hardware engineers to solve complex technical challenges.

  • Experience or familiarity with agentic AI systems for red-teaming, automated vulnerability research, or hardware and firmware analysis.
  • Expertise in firmware analysis, firmware rehosting, fuzzing, exploit development, binary obfuscation, wireless protocols, file-system forensics, or fault-injection frameworks.
  • Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance; daily work in the Herndon office is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI-assisted security, agentic red-teaming, AI-guided symbolic execution, or automated vulnerability triage.
  • Embedded development in C/C++ for RTOS or Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of cryptographic security, secure boot, hardware debugging, JTAG/SWD, SDR, digital signal processing, RF signal processing, or side-channel analysis.
  • Client-facing experience in technical roles.

Culture & Benefits
