ELMAC Business Analytics & Insights Manager - Obesity (Pharmaceutical Market Analytics)

What you will do

• Lead short- and long-term product forecasting, brand performance tracking, primary market research, and secondary analytics for obesity brands across ELMAC markets.
• Provide objective analysis of sales forecasts and product performance in collaboration with marketing, Value & Access, Medical, forecasting, global, and affiliate teams.
• Translate business questions into research plans and turn market research findings and multiple data sources into actionable recommendations.
• Develop and maintain regional patient-based forecasting models and support affiliates in their use and further development.
• Manage brand performance, linking marketing assumptions to sales metrics and targets, while supporting launch readiness and business growth.
• Research and implement innovative analytical tools, including AI/ML solutions, to strengthen team capabilities.

Requirements

• Doctorate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree with demonstrated pharmaceutical market analysis and/or business planning experience.
• Fluent English with excellent oral and written presentation skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience with market analysis and forecasting, including forecasting models, qualitative competitive analysis frameworks, analytical tools, and strong Excel proficiency.
• Experience creating or handling KPIs and performance metrics, with therapeutic area experience.
• Ability to investigate underlying market behaviors, synthesize complex information, and develop impactful recommendations.
• Commercial analysis and business planning experience, ideally with knowledge of at least one key ELMAC market such as Germany, France, Canada, Italy, Spain, or the UK.

• Understanding of reimbursement dynamics and experience with self-pay or private-insurance markets.
• Experience with innovative methodologies and tools.
