Salesforce Technical Architect (Salesforce)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; U.S. citizenship and eligibility to pass a Federal Government background investigation are required. No travel required.

What you will do

• Lead Salesforce technical architecture and support application development for client-facing projects.
• Design and develop business application functionality using Salesforce Service, Sales, and Community Cloud, AppExchange, custom objects, flows, approval processes, and communication templates.
• Design and develop API integrations between Salesforce orgs and external business systems using web services, middleware, Salesforce Events, Canvas, or MuleSoft.
• Implement and manage CI/CD environments and tools, while supporting SFDX, Salesforce CLI, and multi-org development workflows.
• Perform fit-gap analysis, assess delivery risks, and define mitigation strategies aligned with Salesforce best practices.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, code-quality direction, and support for development teams and end users.

Requirements

• At least seven years of Salesforce implementation experience, including two or more years as a lead developer or architect on enterprise-scale Salesforce projects.
• Active Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Developer certifications.
• Strong Apex, Lightning Components/LWC, Aura, and Visualforce experience.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, governor limits, system design, scalability, performance, and refactoring.
• Experience with JSON/XML web services, technical solutioning sessions, architecture diagrams, and technical design documents.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a Federal Government background investigation.

Nice to have

• Git or Bitbucket, JIRA, or Agile Accelerator experience.
• Experience with regulated or Federal Salesforce environments, including FedRAMP or FISMA.
• Experience with Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, multi-org environments, event-driven architecture, or microservices.
• Mentoring junior developers and leading technical communities of practice.
