Location: Kingwood, Texas, United States; onsite at the Texas Oncology clinic at 22710 Professional Drive, Suite 100. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

What you will do

  • Welcome patients, visitors, and family members and check patients in for appointments.
  • Prepare, collect, verify, file, and update patient forms, demographic details, and insurance information.
  • Answer, screen, and route calls and messages to clinical and administrative staff.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments, including providing directions and appointment instructions.
  • Collect co-pays and outstanding balances, issue receipts, and complete patient check-out.
  • Maintain patient charts, clinic forms, office supplies, and lobby organization while protecting patient confidentiality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of front medical office receptionist experience with insurance forms and scheduling software.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of starting.
  • Ability to interact frequently with patients and staff and meet the role’s physical requirements, including occasionally lifting or moving up to 30 pounds.
