What you will do

• Administer and document radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Position radiation beams accurately to match designated tumor volumes and deliver prescribed doses.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record.
• Interpret computerized treatment plans and complete simple monitor unit calculations.
• Prepare radiation treatment blocks and custom molds when required.
• Support patient scheduling, billing accuracy, clinical instruction, and a clean, safe treatment environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Valid state radiation therapy license is required.
• Ability to sit regularly and occasionally stand, walk, reach, and lift or move up to 30 pounds.
• Vision and hearing corrected to normal ranges.
