RN Infusion - Oncology

Location: NW Cancer Center in Clackamas, Oregon, with coverage for satellite offices as needed

Salary: $41.17–$69.36 per hour

What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care for oncology patients under established clinical standards.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures and maintain efficient patient flow.
• Assess patient conditions, laboratory results, imaging, drug reactions, and treatment symptoms, taking appropriate action.
• Support dose modifications by reviewing patients and labs, consulting treatment protocols, calculating doses, and coordinating with physicians.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, maintain central lines, and administer medications and blood products safely.
• Document assessments, education, treatment administration, communications, charges, refills, and triage information in patient charts.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program; BSN preferred.
• Current registered nursing licensure is required, with dual Oregon and Washington licensure to be obtained within six months of starting.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• One to three years of nursing experience; at least one year of oncology experience is preferred.
• Ability to maintain continuing education requirements and follow OSHA procedures for cytotoxic agents and biohazardous materials.
• Ability to handle and lift patients, stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

Nice to have

• Previous infusion oncology experience.
• Chemotherapy Immunotherapy provider card.
• BSN degree.
