MedTech Part Time Clinical Consultant (MedTech)

Location: Albany, New York, United States; on-site clinical support at hospitals, with some travel to other hospitals as needed.

Salary: $60.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide case support, patient management, and education for new and existing accounts.
• Support ventricular medical device cases, including on-call coverage.
• Educate clinical staff on ventricular medical device applications in ICU, OR, and Cath Lab settings.
• Conduct proactive patient rounds and assist patients receiving support.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center and maintain current product and clinical knowledge.
• Provide live field support across assigned hospitals and regions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of strong clinical experience in CICU, CVICU, CVOR, or Cath Lab settings; CVICU experience is highly preferred.
• Significant ventricular medical device experience, including support for at least 10 cases or patients.
• RN or APP license is strongly preferred; perfusionists and cardiovascular specialists are also preferred.
• Availability for at least 2 days of live field support and 5 days of availability per month, including 1 weekend.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, holidays, and weekdays, and to support hospitals outside the base location.
• Ability to meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements and maintain current immunizations.

Nice to have

• Previous industry experience.
• CVICU experience.
• RN or APP license, perfusionist background, or cardiovascular specialization.
