Location: Onsite at the Regional Operations Center in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $84,000–$126,000, plus performance-based bonuses and potential regional pay zone and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Own the day-to-day health and continuous improvement of the dispatch platform.
• Translate operational pain points into problem statements and acceptance criteria, then prioritize fixes with Product and Engineering.
• Optimize dispatch and route-planning cost factors, reduce empty miles, improve route efficiency, and lower transportation costs.
• Lead automation and exception-based management initiatives, create job aids and release notes, and train users on new capabilities.
• Analyze large datasets, track operational KPIs, quantify impact, and communicate data-driven recommendations.
• Lead incident triage and root-cause analysis, drive mitigation, validate production fixes, and maintain standard operating procedures and contingency playbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or operations management, or qualifying Walmart logistics or operations experience.
• Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers, supervisors, or associates, managing workload, and participating in hiring or promotion activities.
• Experience leading incident triage and root-cause analysis for production systems and partnering with Product and Engineering to deliver fixes.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to explain complex system behavior in non-technical language.

Nice to have

• Experience with dispatching or trip-planning platforms, driver assignment, workload stitching, or route optimization.
• Experience with budgets, financial modeling, forecasting, P&L accountability, or operational data analysis.
• Experience writing acceptance criteria or PRDs, running UAT, and measuring post-release impact.
• Comfort with Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or BI tools.
