Senior Audio Design QA Analyst (Wwise)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; office-first, working primarily from the Warsaw studio in full-time or hybrid mode.

Salary: 14,200–24,400 PLN gross monthly.

What you will do

• Own quality for complex audio features from early development through final release across SFX, music, dialogue, ambience, systems, and mixing.
• Define test plans, coverage, quality benchmarks, priorities, validation approaches, and dedicated test environments.
• Evaluate technical functionality and creative quality, including gameplay readability, immersion, consistency, balance, and emotional impact.
• Diagnose implementation issues across audio assets, logic, and systems using Wwise, Unreal Engine, and Blueprints.
• Partner with sound designers, music designers, and programmers to communicate risks, provide actionable feedback, and drive solutions.
• Improve audio QA methodologies and tools, strengthen bug reporting and documentation, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in game QA, audio, or a relevant development discipline, including ownership of quality for complex systems throughout production.
• Strong critical listening skills and a deep understanding of interactive game audio, including sound effects, ambience, music, dialogue, and their interaction during gameplay.
• Proficiency in Wwise or comparable middleware and modern game engines such as Unreal Engine, with the ability to investigate implementation-related audio issues.
• Experience creating test strategies, test plans, structured coverage, risk assessments, prioritization, and data-driven quality recommendations.
• Experience improving QA workflows, providing constructive feedback to creative and technical specialists, and mentoring less experienced team members.
• Strong spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Background in sound design, technical sound design, or audio implementation, with at least one shipped PC or console title.
• Strong knowledge of mixing, dynamics, and signal flow, plus experience with Reaper or Pro Tools.
• Experience with 3D and spatial audio, accessibility, gameplay readability, and testing across diverse hardware and playback environments.
• Experience coordinating testing with external QA teams and creating custom test maps or debug tools for audio validation.
