QA Engineer (Mobile Games)

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland — three days per week from the office and three days from anywhere.

What you will do

• Test new features, builds, and game mechanics across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
• Design and execute test plans, exploratory testing, regression testing, fix validation, and release sign-off.
• Build and maintain automated UI, API, and regression test suites using frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and identify further automation opportunities.
• Monitor live-game dashboards, KPIs, crash reports, and error rates; triage and escalate production issues.
• Support live-ops activities, configuration pushes, event setup, app store submissions, release coordination, and QA documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of QA experience, ideally in mobile gaming or another fast-shipping consumer product.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
• Ability to script in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language for automated tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
• Daily use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot for test generation, scripting, and bug triage.
• Comfort monitoring live systems, analyzing data, handling production issues, and working in an ambiguous startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with casual or social casino games.
• Experience with live-ops tooling, remote configuration, or A/B testing platforms.
• Ability to interpret data and dashboards to identify issues.
• Experience in a small studio or startup environment.
