What you will do

• Oversee food preparation across all shifts for the assigned noodle bar outlet.
• Coordinate with front-of-house staff to maintain effective service and guest satisfaction.
• Hire, train, motivate, evaluate, and supervise kitchen team members.
• Monitor food purchasing, staffing, preparation, inventory, waste, and labor costs against the department budget.
• Inspect cooking techniques, taste results, and maintain consistent food quality in accordance with recipes and HACCP standards.
• Support menu changes, food storage compliance, kitchen equipment operations, and other kitchen areas as needed.

Requirements

• Five years of experience as a chef or cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably with Asian cuisine.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of stocks, soups, mother sauces, meats, poultry, game, and seafood.
• Full understanding of kitchen operations, including organization, budgeting, and financial management.
• Ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively under pressure, and manage multiple tasks in a changing environment.
• Ability to work varying shifts and schedules and meet the physical demands of standing, walking, and lifting 30–40 pounds.

Nice to have

• Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
