Senior Program Manager, Global Medical Affairs - Rare Disease & General Medicine

Location: United States - Remote. Meaningful Pacific Time overlap is required, generally from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with flexibility for key meetings and global deliverables.

Annual salary range: USD 137,340.45–185,813.55.

What you will do

• Support the development and execution of Medical Strategy for Global Rare Disease and General Medicine Medical Affairs teams, including Dazodalibep and olpasiran.
• Coordinate medical plans, insights, budgets, goals, milestones, deliverables, and interdependencies across global, regional, and local teams.
• Drive cross-functional decision-making, document actions and follow-up, and maintain alignment among Medical Affairs and organizational partners.
• Identify project risks, issues, resource gaps, and variances; facilitate resolution, contingency planning, and escalation.
• Lead resource planning, financial planning, capacity assessments, governance, and continuous improvement of medical planning practices.
• Apply approved emerging technologies, including AI tools such as Copilot, to improve planning, reporting, and ways of working.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Project Management experience, or Master’s degree and 4 years, Bachelor’s degree and 6 years, Associate degree and 10 years, or High School diploma/GED and 12 years.
• Strong program-management experience in a complex, global matrix environment.
• Ability to maintain meaningful Pacific Time overlap, generally from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
• Experience with integrated planning, milestone tracking, risk management, resource and financial planning, capacity assessments, and executive-level communication.
• Experience tracking projects with Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, electronic dashboards, or reporting tools.
• Technical fluency with SharePoint, Copilot, Teams, dashboard/reporting tools, and practical AI applications.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of project or program-management experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or another regulated environment.
• 8+ years of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry experience.
• Experience with Global Medical Affairs, Medical Operations, Finance, Scientific Communications, or complex therapeutic-area portfolios.
• Experience leading global cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
