TL;DR
Associate Analyst, Client Compensation (Financial Services): Supporting client compensation operations through data modeling, process analysis, reconciliations, reporting, and partner coordination with an accent on financial data accuracy and advisor compensation. Focus on performing complex analysis, investigating discrepancies, redesigning processes, and developing ad-hoc reports.

Location: Fort Mill/Charlotte, United States

Salary: $20.85–$34.71 per hour

What you will do

  • Research, investigate, and analyze compensation data to support accurate advisor payments.
  • Sort and model data, perform reconciliations, and develop ad-hoc reports.
  • Support process analysis, redesign, and project initiatives across the Client Compensation team.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure reporting data meets business needs.
  • Provide subject-matter-expert data support to external organizations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience in data analytics, business analysis, or technology analysis.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and collaborate across organizational levels.

Nice to have

  • Experience with commissions, accounting, and internal or external audits, including SOX and SSAE16.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, macros, and pivot tables.
  • Experience with Oracle, SharePoint, Dynamics, Tumbleweed, BETA, Alteryx, or SQL.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree.
