Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE)

What you will do

• Develop systems engineering products within the Model-Based Systems Engineering product line.
• Support the Architecture & Delivery Integrated Product Team.
• Decompose, manage, and maintain system requirements and their traceability using tools such as DOORS.
• Support requirements verification through test, analysis, inspection, and demonstration.
• Plan work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active, in-scope Secret security clearance are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Typically 5+ years of progressively responsible systems engineering experience for mid-level candidates or 8+ years for senior-level candidates.
• Advanced understanding of systems engineering principles, processes, lifecycle concepts, and the Systems Engineering V-Model.
• Experience with requirements decomposition, requirements management, traceability, and verification.
• Ability to work on-site in an office environment in Huntsville, Alabama.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex ground-based defense systems.
• Exposure to MBSE tools and practices.
• Experience with Agile development approaches.
• INCOSE or systems engineering certification.
