TL;DR
Sustainment Master Scheduler (Space Systems): Managing executable Integrated Master Schedules for MILSATCOM and NC3 sustainment and modernization activities with an accent on schedule integration, critical-path analysis, and baseline integrity. Focus on coordinating government, contractor, and technical inputs, preparing senior-level schedule reviews, and supporting mission readiness across space-based communication programs.
Location: On-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Travel up to 20% to CONUS and OCONUS locations as directed by the government customer.
Salary: $75,000–$134,500 per year.

What you will do
- Manage and maintain executable Integrated Master Schedules using inputs from IPTs, partner schedulers, and subcontractors.
- Develop detailed, summary-level, and master schedules while monitoring critical-path activities and program baselines.
- Integrate engineering, test, sustainment, modernization, and subcontractor schedule inputs within the SEIT environment.
- Prepare and present monthly schedule briefings, Schedule Management Reviews, and senior-level scheduling presentations.
- Coordinate monthly CDRL and DAL IMS submissions using DI-MGMT-81661 IPMR processes.
- Apply scheduling best practices, including DCMA 32 guidelines, to support schedule credibility and alignment across stakeholders.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance are required; a clearance active within the last 24 months is considered current.
- Expert knowledge and demonstrated use of Microsoft Project and Milestone Professional.
- Experience with planning and scheduling best practices, critical-path analysis, summary-level schedules, and schedule management reviews.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for collaboration with government stakeholders, IPT leads, contractors, and technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of planning and scheduling experience.
- The role is full-time and performed on-site in Colorado Springs, CO.
Nice to have
- PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience integrating subcontractor schedules and conducting Schedule Risk Assessments.
- Experience creating and managing roadmaps.
- Experience with Department of War space programs and SEIT environments.
