(USA) Manager, Sourcing

Location: Onsite at the Hula Building Bentonville, AR Home Office, 1700 SE 5th St, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $70,000–$130,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives and product specifications.
• Manage relationships with approximately 13 suppliers, including assessments, performance monitoring, and capacity evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with retail teams, merchandise quality engineers, and global supply management partners.
• Lead sourcing projects, mentor team members, and drive continuous learning and process improvements.
• Monitor factory capabilities, address production and quality issues, and ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field plus 3 years of sourcing experience, or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management expertise.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop cost-effective sourcing alternatives.
• Experience managing supplier quality and performance, including assessments and factory visits.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Bilingual English and one or more languages used to transact business in the assigned country; project management certification required.

• Experience in retail, manufacturing, or sourcing.
• Experience working for a retailer, major brand, importer, or agent serving a major retail customer.
