Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)

What you will do

• Design, build, operate, and improve ELT/ETL data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Develop data solutions based on Bronze, Silver, and Gold medallion architecture.
• Integrate internal and external data sources and manage lakehouses, warehouses, and storage.
• Implement data quality, testing, observability, lineage, and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and deploy fixes.
• Contribute to CI/CD, documentation, engineering standards, and cross-functional technology projects.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience across data engineering, data analytics, and/or business intelligence.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong knowledge of Spark.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Service.
• Experience building and operating Azure data pipelines using ADF, Synapse, and Fabric.
• Knowledge of version control, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Terraform, identity and secrets management, and cloud cost optimisation.
• Understanding of information management, Master Data Management, development methodologies, and long-term solution supportability.
