Staff Identity and Access Management Engineer (IAM)

Location: Hybrid; employees must work in the office at least three days per week in Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.

Annual base salary: $180,000–$230,000, plus equity awards and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage IAM and IGA solutions across corporate infrastructure, including SSO, MFA, and PAM.
• Build and maintain identity lifecycle automation for onboarding, offboarding, entitlements, and approval workflows.
• Monitor, document, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the identity lifecycle and system performance.
• Partner with GRC to develop IAM/IGA policies and standards supporting ISO 27001, FedRAMP, GDPR, and HIPAA requirements.
• Lead technical delivery for IAM/IGA upgrades, migrations, and integrations while resolving identity-related incidents.
• Mentor engineers across IT and Security and maintain system design documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of identity and access management experience, including IGA integrations with HRIS platforms such as Workday or SuccessFactors.
• Experience implementing, configuring, and managing IGA products such as Lumos, SailPoint, or Saviynt.
• Hands-on expertise with Entra ID and Active Directory, preferably in a hybrid environment.
• Proficiency with PowerShell and experience with SSO, MFA, and PAM tooling.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across IT, Security, and business teams.
