IAM Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia; Birmingham, Alabama; Chicago, Illinois; Downers Grove, Illinois; or Jacksonville, Florida. The position is office-based for local candidates and may be remote for candidates who are not local.

Salary: $89,000–$148,100 annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Design, develop, automate, and deploy enterprise IAM solutions.
• Integrate and manage SSO and MFA for cloud and on-premises applications using SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Automate identity workflows, group assignments, access revocations, and certification campaigns with PowerShell, Python, and identity-provider workflows.
• Enforce Zero Trust, RBAC, and Joiner-Mover-Leaver lifecycle policies across hybrid IT and OT environments.
• Support PAM, identity federation, role-based grants, and third-party directory integrations.
• Maintain audit evidence, resolve control gaps, and collaborate with application teams on secure authentication and authorization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience, preferably in information security.
• Experience with IAM, PAM, and identity governance.
• In-depth knowledge of modern authentication, including SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and experience integrating cloud-based IAM vendors.
• Experience with tools such as Microsoft Entra, ForgeRock, Okta, CyberArk, or SailPoint.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk assessments, security controls, governance frameworks, and audit processes.
