What you will do

• Manage all branch activities, including customer experience, employee experience, transactions, servicing, digital engagement, sales, and operations.
• Direct sales and business development activities to achieve annual profitability and growth goals.
• Lead, coach, develop, and manage branch staff, including hiring, performance reviews, promotions, and staffing decisions.
• Build retail and business banking relationships through customer needs analysis, proactive outreach, and community engagement.
• Process business banking loan requests up to $250,000 and recommend appropriate product and service bundles.
• Resolve complex customer servicing and error issues while maintaining compliance, security, fraud prevention, audit, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of business banking products, services, profitability, and client relationship management.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software, common PC applications, internet, and email.
• M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.
• Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licensing may be required within 18 months; M&T Business Banking Specialist requirements must also be completed within 18 months of hire.

• Retail banking branch management experience.
• Spanish bilingual communication skills.
• Strong sales and business development results, financial services product knowledge, communication skills, and customer service coaching experience.
