Technician I Visual Inspection (Manufacturing)

Panasonic Energy of North America manufactures cylindrical lithium-ion cells for electric vehicles and energy storage systems in collaboration with Tesla.

What you will do

• Monitor machine settings, gauges, sensors, and operating conditions to identify abnormalities.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, oil changes, and part replacements.
• Restore equipment functionality through mechanical and pneumatic adjustments and error-code recovery.
• Use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment.
• Report faulty operations and defective materials to supervision.
• Support machine and process modifications, collaborate with operators, and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Requirements

• Some high school education required; a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
• Working-level English reading, writing, and speaking skills required.
• Ability to perform a physically active role involving standing, walking, lifting, and frequent team lifting of items over 35 pounds.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States without restriction is required.
• Pre-employment drug testing is required.

Nice to have

• At least two years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Resilience, self-motivation, and alignment with Panasonic's core principles.
