Sr Principal Analog Design Engineer (PMIC): Architecting and leading the development of mixed-signal PMICs for automotive and industrial power management applications with an accent on analog circuit design, DC-DC converters, and IC architecture. Focus on designing error amplifiers, references, compensation networks, protection circuits, gate drivers, and power sequencing functions while ensuring efficiency, functional safety, thermal performance, and long-term reliability.

What you will do

  • Architect next-generation mixed-signal PMICs for automotive and industrial applications.
  • Lead IC architecture, subsystem partitioning, interface specifications, and technical execution through production.
  • Design and validate analog and mixed-signal circuits for DC-DC converters, including error amplifiers, references, compensation networks, current sensing, protection, gate drivers, startup, and power sequencing circuits.
  • Ensure performance, quality, reliability, power efficiency, robustness, thermal performance, and functional safety requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with digital, system, validation, application, test, and quality teams, as well as customers and product definers.
  • Improve PMIC development methodologies and design knowledge across the R&D team.

Requirements

  • MSEE degree.
  • At least 10 years of experience developing mixed-signal ICs, preferably with more than 5 years as an architect or technical leader.
  • Strong knowledge of integrated circuit electronics, device-level physics, analog systems, and transistor-level circuit design.
  • Expertise in DC-DC converter architecture and design; power management design experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Cadence design tools, including Virtuoso, Spectre, and AMS.
  • Good oral and written English communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
