TL;DR
Senior Principal Electrical Engineer (Analog IC): Designing and releasing radiation-hardened analog and mixed-signal power management ICs for space markets with an accent on precision analog design, power conversion, and transistor-level circuit development. Focus on designing DC-DC converters and LDOs, validating and debugging products, and coordinating their transition from concept to production.
Location: Palm Bay, Florida; onsite only. The role may also be based in RTP, North Carolina.

What you will do
- Define products in collaboration with marketing, applications, and customers.
- Design transistor-level analog and mixed-signal circuits for power management products.
- Apply bipolar, BiCMOS, BCD, and power process technologies to develop innovative designs.
- Develop power management products including DC-DC switching converters, LDOs, and multifunction circuits for space applications.
- Validate and debug products before transferring them to production engineering.
- Coordinate with process, test, product, applications, and marketing teams to deliver products from concept through production release.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience with analog integrated circuit design and successfully released power management products.
- Strong knowledge of large bipolar and DMOS power transistor design, layout, and robustness.
- Experience with switch-mode power conversion topologies, including boost, buck, control methods, and multiphase current sharing.
- Experience with Cadence analog design tools, mixed-signal simulation, behavioral top-level modeling, and mixed-signal verification.
- Knowledge of analog/digital interfaces, digital buses, gate-driver techniques, and control systems.
- MSEE with 10+ years, PhD with 8+ years, or BSEE with 15+ years of relevant industry experience.

- Experience with radiation-hardened power management products.
