Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Four days are worked in the office, with flexibility to work outside the office on Fridays.

What you will do

• Process weekly invoices and post accounts payable transactions.
• Audit expense reports and process biweekly payments.
• Review and correct invoices, including job costing and consultant invoices.
• Set up, maintain, and update vendor records in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Import data, reconcile petty cash reimbursements, and support accurate job costing and timely payments.
• Answer employee and vendor questions about accounts payable procedures and support ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in an accounts payable role.
• Knowledge of general accounting practices.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without work visa or residency sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience using Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Accounts payable experience in a consulting architecture and engineering firm.
