Quality Assurance Consultant (System Testing)

Location: Must be located in Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Colorado, New Mexico, or Hawaii. Hybrid position with travel and onsite requirements for office or client meetings.

Salary: $66,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan, design, execute, and document functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Create test strategies, scenarios, cases, scripts, test data, and requirements traceability documentation.
• Validate APIs, web services, file-based interfaces, batch processing, data exchanges, and end-to-end business workflows.
• Identify, document, prioritize, retest, and track defects through resolution while supporting defect triage and root cause analysis.
• Analyze data integrity, reconciliation results, processing accuracy, and integration failures.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, project managers, vendors, and client stakeholders in Agile delivery environments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of systems or application testing or quality assurance experience.
• Experience with functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, including test plans, cases, scenarios, and scripts.
• Experience testing interfaces, integrations, end-to-end business processes, and data exchanges between internal and external systems.
• Knowledge of APIs, web services, file-based transfers, batch processing, system interfaces, data mappings, and integration requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be located in one of the specified U.S. states; PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale system implementation or modernization projects.
• Experience in public sector, health and human services, workforce development, education, tax, licensing, labor, or benefits administration.
• Familiarity with testing governance, quality assurance frameworks, and structured testing methodologies.
