Junior/Mid-Level Tester (ServiceNow)

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States; hybrid work in the Washington, DC area with office and remote work

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and detailed test cases for the STORES 2.0 application on ServiceNow.
• Perform functional, integration, performance, regression, security, compliance, acceptance, and 508 accessibility testing.
• Prioritize test scenarios based on business impact and risk, prepare test data, and evaluate results against requirements and design.
• Use ServiceNow ATF and other automation frameworks to support the testing strategy.
• Log, track, retest, and triage defects in Jira while collaborating with developers to troubleshoot and verify fixes.
• Prepare test scripts, documentation, user tester guides, and contribute to testing process improvements.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain DoD Public Trust or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of testing experience, including ServiceNow testing.
• Experience with Jira, test case design, test planning, defect management, API testing, performance testing, and test automation.
• Experience with Scrum and SAFe Agile frameworks and familiarity with ServiceNow navigation and modules.
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I and a relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

Nice to have

• Existing DoD Public Trust.
• Experience with DLA, DoD, federal government testing standards, or government projects.
• Automated testing frameworks for ServiceNow, including ATF.
• Knowledge of APIs, JSON, flat-file data exchange, and security and compliance testing.
