Location: Carlsbad, California, United States

Salary: $140,500–$221,500 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $174,000–$261,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design, build, and implement secure architectures with cross-functional product development teams.
• Create vulnerability, remediation, security package, and program security status documentation.
• Provide technical and policy guidance for security accreditation efforts.
• Manage system security requirements and support security compliance.
• Configure and manage firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Validate and test system security functionality through system integration testing.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, information assurance, secure systems or network administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience designing and documenting security plans, policies, and procedures.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53, RMF, CMMC, CIS, or similar security compliance standards.
• Understanding of cybersecurity defense and detection methodologies, defense-in-depth architecture, IT systems, directory services, and IP networking.
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain an active TOP SECRET security clearance are required.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related engineering discipline.
• CCNA, JNCIA, CompTIA Security+ CE, CISSP, or similar certification.
• Experience with the DoD Zero Trust Framework, AWS, Azure, GCP, or eMASS.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, prioritization, and independent working skills.
