TL;DR
Management & Reimbursement Analyst (Business Analysis, Associate) (Federal Financial Management): Managing federal reimbursement processes and interagency agreements for a government client with an accent on financial reconciliations, invoice tracking, and stakeholder coordination. Focus on validating reimbursement data, improving IAA and invoicing processes, and developing reporting tools for implementation tracking.

Location: Washington, DC; currently requires an on-site schedule

Salary: $114,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

  • Conduct federal reimbursement analysis, manage documentation and reconciliations, allocate funds, and respond to transaction inquiries.
  • Monitor reimbursement ceilings, outstanding invoices, and the handling of classified transactions.
  • Draft, submit, track, and monitor Interagency Agreements, including preparing status summaries and leadership communications.
  • Facilitate negotiation meetings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Improve IAA and invoicing processes, resolve stakeholder questions, and support survey and training tools for overseas posts.
  • Validate data with the Cost of Service Model team, assist with reimbursement rate development, and create IAA implementation reports.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in federal reimbursements, interagency agreements, or related financial management functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with federal financial management systems, databases, and financial processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance and upgrade to a Top Secret clearance as required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with G-Invoicing.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps or similar tools.
  • Experience drafting or managing Interagency Agreements, process improvement, or stakeholder coordination.
