Principal System Engineer (Embedded Systems)

What you will do

• Define and design system-level architectures for new semiconductor products across hardware, software, and firmware.
• Analyze system requirements, develop specifications, and translate product needs into technical solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, architecture trade-off analyses, risk assessments, and performance studies.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and verification teams on component integration and validation.
• Develop system-level test plans and strategies for functionality and performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship while supporting customer-facing technical discussions and intellectual property generation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in system engineering, embedded systems, and semiconductor product development.
• Strong programming and modeling skills in C, C++, MATLAB, and Python.
• Experience with wireless communication or control system design, DC-DC modeling, performance analysis, and jitter modeling.
• Experience with product specification and development in the analog-mixed-signal domain.
• Strong written, oral, and presentation skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and geographies.
